Bistekupo of the Week
Really?

Nang dahil sa salitang really, tinawag akong rude at idiotic ng customer.

Ganito k’se yun.

Nasira ang phone ni Mrs. D at dahil in warranty pa naman, papalitan namin pero required na magpakita ng resibo bilang patunay na wala pang isang taon ang produkto. Ang kaso, hindi raw makita ni Lola ang resibo kaya ito ang email ko sa kanya:

We apologize we are unable to process a replacement without a proof of purchase but in the event you can not really find the receipt, we can give you 15% discount plus free shipping for new phone purchase …

Nagulat ako sa isinagot ng customer:

Do you really think I'd lie about not being able to find the receipt for my phone? For what purpose? It would be so much easier to just send the receipt and get a new phone. I can't believe you would make such an idiotic, rude statement.

I will refuse your offer of a 15% discount and free shipping for a replacement phone. I won't purchase another A** product.

You would rather make a little money on a phone that probably cost you $20, than keep me as a satisfied customer, encourage me to buy your products and sing your praises. The bottom line with your company, as with many others, is greed. The customer be damned.

I am copying this to **** to let that person know you all but called me a liar about the receipt. They may want to rethink giving you the authority to deal with customers.

Araykupo! Ako? Hindi dapat bigyan ng authority na makipag-usap sa mga customer???

Hindi pa dito nagtapos ang engkuwentro namin ni Mrs. D. Tinawagan ko na siya dahil mahirap makipagpaliwanagan sa email. To cut a long story short, napahinuhod ko ang matanda at maayos na napaliwanagan at nangako pang kakausapin ang nag-email sa kanya para ipaalam ang sentimyento n'ya although sinabi ko rin sa customer na, "I read the letter but I did not find it offensive ..." Siguro raw galit lang siya nun kaya ganun ang reaction nya, nagpasalamat pa sa pagtawag ko.

Kung alam lang ni Mrs. D na ako yung ka-email n'ya, baka pinutakan ako mula ulo hanggang paa!

Usapang resibo pa rin.

Eto may resibo nga pero ... puwede namang i-scan ng hindi parang binawi lang sa basurahan, di ba? May tinatago ka ba, Manang?

(Hmp! Kahit ano'ng gusot ang gawin mo, kita pa rin na hindi ito ang resibo ng binili mong telepono! 'Kala mo makakalusot ka!)
